There are numerous options available to control the tour and these are detailed below. Using our chosen software we can usually create what you want.

Tours are usually controlled by buttons, the mouse including the wheel, and the keyboard. All can however be switched off as required.

You could have

  • No control, the tour just runs
  • Just the mouse/ keyboard with or without mouse wheel
  • Mouse/ keyboard and buttons with or without the mouse wheel.
  • Just buttons

Our software enables us to create buttons to any design and assign them a wide variety of functions.
Some of the functions can be experienced on the tours on this site but a basic list is below.

  • Pan image horizontally and vertically.
  • Toggle auto rotation - if enabled.
  • Toggle full screen small screen - this does require a larger image size which is slower loading.
  • Show / hide an element or still image.
  • Link to another tour.
  • Show or hide a navigation panel or 'map'.

Buttons can be positioned anywhere on the images and be arranged at any transparency. They can be created to change size when 'moused over' or to slide in from the side.

The images themselves have a variety of options

  • Autorotate left or right at a preset speed
  • Start at any position of level of zoom
  • Have maximum/ minimum zoom and tilt set*
  • Automatically return to the horizon and normal zoom after a predetermined time.
  • Wait a set time after user action before resuming auto rotate
  • Rotate less than 360 degrees.

* the maximum tilt that is available is determined when the images are shot but can be reduced when the tour is created.
